Who are YuGo?
YuGo is a company limited by guarantee, which means that we are a for-profit organisation that was set up to raise funds for our parent company, Allsorts. All of the profits generated through YuGo are reinvested into Allsorts, to help Allsorts deliver activities and support for families who have children with additional needs.
Why YuGo?
Allsorts provides a range of exciting and engaging activities for children and young people aged 0-24 and their families. We are able to do this because of our super team of coaches, support workers, volunteers, office and management workers. All of this is made possible because of external funding from a range of wonderful charitable giving organisations and individuals.
Occasionally, there is not enough money from charitable giving to run our clubs and activities. This could increase with the cost of living crisis and the reduced amount of charitable funding available. YuGo is there to plug the gap – we can use profits generated through YuGo to keep Allsorts clubs and activities available and accessible to Allsorts members, at subsidised costs to families.
YuGo also plays another important role in the lives of Allsorts members – we are there when Allsorts no longer can be! When you reach the age of 25, you can no longer access Allsorts: but you can access YuGo. This means that all the fun, friendship and positive wellbeing does not stop there. You have a bright and active future ahead of you.
What do YuGo do?
YuGo provides a variety of activities for a diverse audience (much like Allsorts). You can access sports and exercise clubs that let you blow off steam with your friends, have a go at activities that you haven’t tried before, or keep things stretchy flexy in one of our calming Yoga sessions. We provide Personal Training that focuses on your health and exercise goals (you can do this with friends, too). We also work with your local mainstream and specialist schools, to help them provide the best experiences for you in PE. We are here to ensure that Allsorts members have a positive experience with physical activity both during and after their time at Allsorts.
YuGo is constantly evolving, but there is one thing you can be sure of – we bring the fun, and you are welcome to join us!
