Celebrating inclusive sport: YuGo’s June school sport events

YuGo's accessible cycling event

June was a busy and brilliant month for YuGo as we proudly delivered four inclusive school sports events across Gloucestershire, reaching over 200 pupils from nine amazing specialist schools.

These events brought movement, confidence, teamwork and most importantly FUN to every pupil who took part.

Primary athletics

We kicked off the month with our SEND primary athletics event at the Prince of Wales Stadium, where pupils took to the track and field for a day of adapted sport. From javelin and shotput to long jump, sprints and relays, it was a fantastic day full of energy.

A massive thank you to the schools who joined us:

  • Belmont
  • Alderman Knight
  • Bettridge
  • Shrubberies
  • Sladewood
  • Milestone
  • Heart of the Forest

Congratulations to Milestone School, who took home the overall trophy and a special shoutout to Belmont School for racing to victory in the staff relay!
