New monthly seated exercise class in Stroud

Seated exercise session at the Salvation Army

YuGo is excited to launch a brand-new seated exercise class, led by instructor Gemma, at the Stroud Salvation Army.

These free monthly sessions take place on the first Wednesday of every month at 11am at:

The class uses gentle, chair-based exercises to help boost physical and mental wellbeing. From improving balance and coordination to building strength and confidence, it’s about moving in a way that feels good for you.

“The new seated exercise group is a great way of bringing people together to have some fun and improve their quality of life. At The Salvation Army we believe that God wants us to live life to the full, and part of that includes looking after our bodies. The group creates a space for people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing while making new friends and having fun together.”

Christopher Button, Corps Officer at Stroud Salvation Army

“Partnering with Stroud Salvation Army has been fantastic. The group has such and welcoming atmosphere and it’s lovely to see the people coming together and enjoying the exercises.”

Gemma, Health & Fitness Manager, YuGo
